DIAMOND DIES
For small diameter of wire drawing, as well as applications that require excellent surface quality of the wire, there is nothing better than drawing with diamond dies, manned by a single crystal of natural or synthetic origin, the proposed merger of Taiwan Metiz Alliance.
Diamond die - a tool for wire drawing equipment that is used for drawing of soft copper, aluminum, and stainless steel wire, tungsten and steel wire with a copper coating. Treatment Principle by drawing is gradual decrease in the diameter of the wire from entering the diamond die to exiting therefrom (as shown below).
Advantages:
- Excellent surface quality of the finished product.
- Low coefficient of friction.
- High wear resistance and durability of the calibrating zone.
Application:
Diamond dies are used for drawing the magnetic, tungsten, copper wire, stainless steel and precious metals.
