DIAMOND DIES Diamond die - a tool for wire drawing equipment that is used for drawing of soft copper, aluminum, and stainless steel wire, tungsten and steel wire with a copper coating. Treatment Principle by drawing is gradual decrease in the diameter of the wire from entering the diamond die to exiting therefrom (as shown below).

Instructions for diamond dies

To extend the life of the diamond die, you must:

  • Avoid jarring during installation of the die. Eliminates the possibility of vibration wire and equipment.
  • Use the necessary number of lubricant. The temperature of the lubricating fluid should be maintained at around 40-50 ° C continuously.
  • Follow the manufacturer's recommendations on PH levels and density. Apply filters and bath, remove unwanted impurities and pollution.
  • The time spent on repairing dies, calculated from the total volume of products that have undergone processing of the drawing dies. The table below gives a rough estimate of the material for drawing, dimensions and other parameters.
